Freelance journalist and photographer in Africa
From Kampala (Uganda) I try to look at Africa and the world from as many
different perspectives as possible.
Are you ready to discover Africa with me?
Many foreign TV crews like to work with a ‘fixer.’ A good fixer is someone who can get things done, fix them. These can be practical things like hotel rooms and cars, press accreditations or interview-appointments. It can also involve getting a replacement quickly, in case a camera breaks down.
And most importantly, the fixer needs to know a lot about the country.
In recent years I did fixing for the American channel Current TV as well as for Dutch broadcaster BNN. Both teams left the country satisfied and relied on the many people who are in my network.
